Braedyn Johnson commands the offense for a Bears win

Recap: Boyertown Bears vs. Owen J. Roberts Wildcats
The Boyertown Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Owen J. Roberts and snuck past 70-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Boyertown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braedyn Johnson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven assists and four steals. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Greaves, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Boyertown's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Owen J. Roberts, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyertown will be home for the holidays to greet Perkiomen Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkiomen Valley is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Owen J. Roberts won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wilson at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th.
