Basketball Game Preview: Northwood Academy Chargers vs. Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks

The Northwood Academy Chargers will take on the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Northwood Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Ashley Ridge just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 62-43 fall against the Swamp Foxes.

Meanwhile, Oceanside Collegiate Academy entered their tilt with Waccamaw on Wednesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over the Warriors. The Landsharks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Northwood Academy, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.
