Football Recap: Ledyard's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Ledyard and Griswold pushed the score to 40-32 the last time they played Griswold, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Colonels received a blow as they fell 14-0 to the Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Colonels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ledyard fell to 2-1. As for Griswold, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ledyard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-6 victory against Montville on the 2nd. As for Griswold, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Woodstock Academy at 12:00 p.m. on the 11th.
