After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Okeechobee brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 33-6 win over the Port St. Lucie Jaguars. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Brahmans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Okeechobee's defense and their 4.5 sacks. John Immerfall was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 himself.

Okeechobee's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okeechobee will host Bayside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will be playing at home against Jupiter Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
