Baseball Recap: Asheville Continues Road Dominance on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Apex Friendship, Asheville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the North Buncombe Black Hawks. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Black Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Asheville pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for North Buncombe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Asheville is set to face off against their familiar foe McDowell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Buncombe will take on rival A.C. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
