Timberlake Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Roanoke Catholic Celtics 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Tornadoes sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row dating back to last season.

Timberlake Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roanoke Catholic between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

Grace Minor paced Timberlake Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Minor got some help from Siam Conway and her 24 assists. Riley Moses controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Timberlake Christian will be taking part in a tournament against StoneBridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Roanoke Catholic, they are taking a road trip to take on Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
