Basketball Recap: Vestaburg Comes Up Short

Vestaburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Harrison Hornets, falling 50-26. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Vestaburg lost, don't look at Callie Bills. Despite the final result, she posted four points.

Vestaburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Harrison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Vestaburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-22 victory against Coleman on the 22nd. As for Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-33 defeat against Beaverton on the 22nd.
