West End is 8-2 against Cleveland since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The West End Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cleveland Panthers at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
West End is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Victory Christian 17-1 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Liddy Falkner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Braylee King was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. DaLeigha Wheeler was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cleveland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Cold Springs with a sharp 9-3 victory on Friday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
The team relied heavily on Ella Thomas, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kylie Hudson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Cleveland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matchups.
West End pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cleveland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
West End was able to grind out a solid win over Cleveland when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 8-3. Will West End repeat their success, or does Cleveland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
