Baseball Recap: Santa Teresa Desert Warriors vs. Cobre Indians
Santa Teresa took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Cobre Indians with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Desert Warriors haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Gavin Garcia was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Garcia was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Marcos Rivera looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
