Volleyball Recap: Terre Haute North Vigo Takes a Loss

Terre Haute North Vigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Columbus North Bull Dogs, falling 3-0.

Reid Monken paced Terre Haute North Vigo's offense, picking up five kills. Monken got some help from Pierce Lee and his nine assists. Finally, Trevor Page kept Terre Haute North Vigo's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Kota Kondo went supernova For Columbus North., getting seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kondo has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Vitor Dai, who had six digs and three aces.

Terre Haute North Vigo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Columbus North, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.

Terre Haute North Vigo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Terre Haute South Vigo on the 3rd. As for Columbus North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Southport on the 3rd.
