Softball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Massaponax on Monday, Stafford came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Colonial Forge Eagles by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Kaylan Wolff made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Tori Bove was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Stafford has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Colonial Forge, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Stafford nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
