Basketball Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Raphael Academy last Tuesday, Coventry came back down to earth. The Coventry Oakers lost to the Pilgrim Patriots on the road by a 60-44 margin on Saturday. If the Oakers were looking for revenge after losing 67-46 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coventry dropped their record down to 10-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pilgrim, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Coming up, Coventry will host West Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pilgrim, they will head out to take on St. Raphael Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Pilgrim's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
