Baseball Recap: Holston Comes Up Short

Holston came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-2 to the Rural Retreat Indians. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Holston's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Rural Retreat, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Holston is set to challenge their familiar foe Chilhowie at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Rural Retreat will take on rival Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
