It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westmont had no problem doing just that on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Chicago Academy Cougars 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Sentinels sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Westmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Westmont was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
