Volleyball Recap: Westwood Find Success

Westwood posted their closest win since October 5, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Arizona College Prep Knights 2-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Kayla Hawkins paced Westwood's offense, picking up ten kills. Hawkins got some help from Amelie Caldwell and her 25 assists. Elsie Palmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win got Westwood back to even at 2-2. As for Arizona College Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chandler on the 30th. As for Arizona College Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Pinnacle on the 30th.
