Soccer Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, East Henderson was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Polk County Wolverines. While losing is never fun, East Henderson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Polk County are ranked 110th).

East Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Polk County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, East Henderson will square off against Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tuscola will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something East Henderson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polk County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
