Cienega faced Willow Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bobcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Dawson Briggs paced Cienega's offense, picking up 18 kills. Briggs got some help from Caiden Mott and his 49 assists. Finally, Briggs was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Cienega's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-5. As for Willow Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 25-11.
Cienega has already played their next game (against Arizona College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Willow Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
