Softball Recap: Indianola Extends Winning Streak to Three

Indianola won against Norwalk on Monday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Indians walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Ballard Bombers. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won three contests in a row.

Indianola pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Ballard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indianola will face off against Pella Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ballard, they will head out to take on Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
