Volleyball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the John Marshall Justices, falling 3-0. If the Crimson Wave were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Justices when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for John Marshall, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Petersburg will welcome Hopewell at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Marshall, they will square off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
