Volleyball Recap: Allie Dansie and Breleigh Youngstrom Secure Win for Rigby

Rigby won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Rigby was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-18.

Rigby was led to victory by Breleigh Youngstrom and Allie Dansie. Youngstrom had 11 digs and two aces, while Dansie had five digs. Youngstrom is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Rigby's record now sits at 28-6. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Rigby will venture away from home to take on Canyon Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Highland, they will take on Mountain View in a tournament on Friday.
