Basketball Recap: Harvey's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Harvey played in conference for the first time on Saturday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They snuck past the Orange Lions with a 55-51 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Harvey got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Armani Hall out in front who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Snyder, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

Despite the loss, Orange still got an impressive performance from Alex Mcculloch, who went 7 of 12 en route to 19 points along with six boards and five assists. Jayden Hawkins was another key player, putting up six points.

Harvey's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Orange, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Harvey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 71-60 defeat against Chardon on the 28th. As for Orange, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-47 loss against Olmsted Falls on the 28th.
