Recap: Warren Central Vikings vs. Ridgeland Titans
Sadly, the Warren Central Vikings are still looking for their first win of the season after 29 games. They were beaten by Ridgeland 68-9 on Tuesday. Warren Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-2.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgeland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Young, who scored ten points along with three steals. Young hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Diya Rodgers, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-29. As for Ridgeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.
Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgeland, they will head out on the road to challenge Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Ridgeland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
