Softball Recap: Becker Triumphs

While Becker put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Sauk Rapids-Rice. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Storm 1-0. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 victory the Storm walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Becker now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Becker will head out to challenge Annandale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they will head out on the road to square off against Alexandria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.71 runs per game on average), something the Storm will no doubt try to take advantage of.
