Basketball Recap: Mid-Pacific Institute Takes a Loss

Mid-Pacific Institute lost against Damien back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mid-Pacific Institute Owls fell to the Damien Monarchs 48-43. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mid-Pacific Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Damien, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Pacific Institute will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hanalani at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Damien also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Sacred Hearts Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
