Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saydel). They secured a 70-66 W over the West Marshall Trojans on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Trojans back in December of 2024, they had to take a 52-46 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Saydel and bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for West Marshall, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Saydel Eagles face off against the Perry Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Perry's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. West Marshall has already played their next game (against Baxter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
