Baseball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Snowflake Lobos by a score of 7-3. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 win the Lobos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Noah Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two triples and two RBI.

In other batting news, TJ Loftis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Snowflake, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-7.
