Basketball Recap: Oilton Comes Up Short

Oilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 68-37 defeat at the hands of the Yale Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 6, 2024.

Oilton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Yale, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

Oilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-53 loss against Davenport on the 7th. As for Yale, they have also already played their next matchup, an 86-38 victory against Agra on the 7th.
