Soccer Game Preview: Oak Park vs. North Kansas City

The Oak Park Northmen are taking a road trip to take on the North Kansas City Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Oak Park fell victim to Park Hill and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 1-0. Oak Park haven't had much luck with Park Hill recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Park Hill South, falling 4-0.

North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Oak Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Oak Park beat North Kansas City by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Northmen since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
