Classical Prep hadn't done well against Hernando Christian Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Classical Prep came out on top against Hernando Christian Academy by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but Classical Prep sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Madelynn Zimmermn paced Classical Prep's offense, picking up 27 kills. Zimmermn got some help from Anabel Christianson and her 39 assists. Brianna Behner controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Classical Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Hernando Christian Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Classical Prep will head out to take on Delphi Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they will challenge Meadowbrook Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
