Elif Kaya Game Report: @ Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind

It was a big day for Elif Kaya on Thursday as she got points on the board for the first time in her young career. She posted two points, helping propel Appalachian Christian School past Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind by a score of 53-17. We certainly expect to see more performances from Kaya considering she's already seeing the court as a freshman.

Looking ahead, Kaya and Appalachian Christian School won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ridgeview Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will enter the matchup having just beaten Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, so the Trailblazers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
