Basketball Game Preview: Olney Cubs vs. Archer City Wildcats

The Olney Cubs will venture away from home to face off against the Archer City Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Olney had to suffer through a 73-14 loss at the hands of Seymour. While losing is never fun, the Cubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1094th, while the Panthers are ranked 293rd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Archer City took on Electra on Friday. Archer City came out on top against Electra by a score of 44-33.

Olney has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season. As for Archer City, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.

Olney came up short against Archer City when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 35-27. Can Olney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
