Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Pioneers vs. Burroughs Bears

The Providence Pioneers will head out to challenge the Burroughs Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Providence came up short against Oakwood and fell 3-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Burroughs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Burbank 3-0 on Tuesday.

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Burroughs, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-8.

Providence couldn't quite get it done against Burroughs when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Pioneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
