Lourdes strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 45-8 win over the Dodgeland Trojans. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Lourdes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ryder Mullen and JT Schultz. Lourdes received some extra help from Jacob Bogardus, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Lourdes, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Lucas Neuens, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Lourdes' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Dodgeland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lourdes will host Palmyra-Eagle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dodgeland, they will welcome Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
