Football Recap: Harrison Central Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Harrison Central hadn't done well against Bellaire recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Big Reds, sneaking past 29-26. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 27-0 victory the Big Reds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2021.

Bellaire's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kole Gonglik, who picked up 192 receiving yards and one TD, and Michael Dippel, who threw for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Gonglik was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.
