Baseball Preview: Valley Center Jaguars vs. Escondido Cougars

On Tuesday, Valley Center was able to grind out a solid win over Escondido, taking the game 5-2.

Michael Bray made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Bray has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Bray was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
