After a string of three wins, North Marion's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by the Wildwood Wildcats 81-21. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Wildcats are ranked fifth).
Despite the defeat, North Marion had strong showings from JAMEYA BROWN, who posted 11 points, and JERMEA JACKSON, who had five points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Adejah Corbin, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.
North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wildwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
North Marion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-21 victory against Santa Fe on the 28th. As for Wildwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-17 win against P.K. Yonge on the 28th.
