Sands won the last time they faced O'Donnell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 31-23 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

O'Donnell's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Perez, who posted four points and six steals. Perez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Sands' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for O'Donnell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Sands will be taking part in a tournament against Westbrook at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for O'Donnell, they will be playing at home against Grady at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
