Richmond scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 96-90 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kokomo Wildkats. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Wildkats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

It was another big night for Korbyn Hammel, who went 9-for-13 en route to 28 points along with seven assists and three steals for Kokomo. Hammel is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Zion Bellamy was another key player, going 7-for-13 to rack up 20 points.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Kokomo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Richmond won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Warren Central at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Warren Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three matchups. As for Kokomo, they will head out on the road to take on Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
