Cherryville barely beat Bessemer City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ironmen never let the Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday. That looming 5-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cherryville yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Cherryville and bumps their season record up to 6-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Bessemer City, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
