Baseball Recap: Grafton Black Hawks vs. Port Washington Pirates
Grafton never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Port Washington on Monday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 14-2 win. The Black Hawks have beaten the Pirates the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pirates has come to flipping the script.
Jack Schmanski made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Schmanski was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Nicholas Schiller was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Port Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
