Basketball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 62-39 to the University Charter Trail Blazers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-37 on January 7th.

Zy'Darrius Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for University Charter, going 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Craig Ellington, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for University Charter, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Johnson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-42 win against Linden on the 27th. University Charter has also already played their next contest, a 53-36 victory against Choctaw County on the 27th.
