Volleyball Recap: Butler's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

If Butler was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chambers on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Independence Patriots on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat last Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 23-25, 25-17.

Kinsley Singleton paced Butler's offense, picking up 14 kills. Singleton got some help from Addison Saunders and her 24 assists. Amaya Bailey controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Butler's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7. As for Independence, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Butler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against West Cabarrus on the 18th. As for Independence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against North Mecklenburg on the 15th.
