Basketball Recap: Chatham Comes Up Short

Chatham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 67-43 to the Greenwich Witches. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 59-55 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Chatham's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Greenwich, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Chatham will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Coxsackie-Athens at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenwich, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-40 defeat against Hoosic Valley on the 17th.
