Baseball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

The Gilbert Yellowjackets came up short against the Bolton Bulldogs on Monday and fell 6-2. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by exactly four runs.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Gilbert will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nonnewaug at 3:45 p.m. on the 27th. As for Bolton, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Canton at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
