Softball Recap: Aragon Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Aragon's offense. They came up short against the Valley Christian Warriors on Thursday, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Dons were not able to get on the board.

Aragon dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aragon will square off against Burlingame at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aragon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Valley Christian, they will face off against Branham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Branham has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Valley Christian will come in with four straight wins.
