Baseball Recap: Gloucester County Christian Victorious

Gloucester County Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers by a score of 5-2. For the Conquerors, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 win the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

David Dellarova spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Gloucester County Christian secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Owen Macauley, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Macauley a new career-high. Another was Hunter Burger, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
