Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Comes Up Short

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Southern Nash Firebirds, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-10.

Rocky Mount's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Southern Nash, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Rocky Mount didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hunt on the 7th. As for Southern Nash, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northern Nash on the 7th.
