Basketball Game Preview: Palacios Sharks vs. Industrial Cobras

Palacios hasn't had much luck against Industrial recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Palacios Sharks will take on the Industrial Cobras at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Palacios ended up a good deal behind Hallettsville and lost 54-40.

Meanwhile, Industrial fought the good fight in their overtime match against Edna on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 63-55 to the Cowboys. The Cobras have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Palacios' defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Industrial, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Palacios came up short against Industrial in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 61-54. Can Palacios avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
