Cox waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the First Colonial Patriots as they made off with a 12-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

Cox's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for First Colonial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Cox will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Great Bridge at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 1.5, the Wildcats 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for First Colonial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Granby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
