Volleyball Game Preview: Oswego East Wolves vs. Oswego Panthers

Oswego East is 2-8 against Oswego since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Oswego East and Bolingbrook have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bolingbrook scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Oswego earned a 2-0 victory over Plainfield East on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won five in a row.

Oswego not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Plainfield East to exactly 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17.

Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Oswego East, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
